Our Leadership Team

Mr. Dean founded Great Lakes Land Holdings and My Storage Great Lakes (manufacturing entity) Prior to that, he graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Applied Economics and Management while competing and winning two national titles in wrestling. Dean was hired onto the coaching staff at Cornell where he coached for four years, led recruiting, and helped fundraise over for the program. During that time, he began investing into multi-family real estate. His passion for real estate grew and quickly after discovering the storage sector of real estate through recruiting, he founded My Storage Great Lakes and shortly after Great Lakes Land Holdings. He graduated from Cornell in 2017. He currently resides in Huntsville, AL with his fiancee Francesca. As CEO, Mr. Dean oversees the entire operations of the company.
Mr. Hackney decided while in college to go into law enforcement. He transferred all his credits to Mid Michigan College where he received a General Education Associates Degree. He received his MCOLES Certification through Delta College in Saginaw Michigan in 2006. This certificate allowed him to become a certified Police Officer in the State of Michigan. After working in law enforcement for seven years, he was hired by Sports Addix a gear manufacturing company and for seven years was one of their top salesmen. He was recruited to come work with Great Lakes Land Holdings and shortly was promoted to COO where he oversees the day to day operations of the company. He resides in Hastings, MI with his ten year old daughter Aven.
Mrs. Dean is a founding and current member of the company. She received her undergraduate business degree from The University of Toledo in 1990 and pursued her CPA license working for Deloitte & Touche in their auditing department. As a licensed CPA for the majority of the last 30 years, she has owned and operated Dean Accounting & Tax Service specializing in small business and personal tax returns. She is also currently employed as the Director of Finance for Combat Sports with 3Step Sports. She resides in Lowell, MI with her husband , David.

Justin graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in marketing in 2017, and has since stayed close to his hometown of Lowell, where Great Lakes Land Holdings is headquartered. Since his graduation has quickly gained experience across numerous fields of marketing including email marketing, social media marketing, and search engine optimization. Outside of work life, Justin is an avid sports photographer and enjoys activities such as golf and tennis.

Mrs. Pratt joined the company in the spring of 2022. She received her undergraduate degree from Aquinas College and pursued a master’s degree in educational leadership at Western Michigan University thereafter. Prior work experience before joining GLLH, Mrs. Pratt was the Director of the accounts receivable department for Sports Addix, a sports gear manufacturing company. She currently resides in Lowell, MI with her husband Greg.
Mr. Wilson has been with the company since its start in 2021. Prior to that, he was a full time commercial broker at Red Rock in Birmingham, AL. specializing in the storage and industrial sectors. After starting his career in aviation, he always had a passion for real estate and returned to Auburn University gaining his MBA in commercial development through their MRED program. During this time, he gained a broad knowledge in the commercial real estate industry and made numerous contacts that eventually led him to Red Rock. As both a corporate and airline pilot, Mr. Wilson worked with numerous high net worth clients in the business world and found this to be a helpful transition into commercial real estate. Making real estate his full-time career, the flexibility of the airline industry allows him to maintain his active pilot status with Spirit Airlines flying the Airbus 320. His daily duties at Great Lakes Land Holdings consist of overseeing acquisition and development as well as general business oversight. Him and his wife Jordan both graduated from Auburn University where they enjoy going back to attend games and catch up with friends. They live in Trussville, AL where they are active members at First Baptist and continue to be active members in their new community.
Mr. Scott joined the company in November of 2020. Prior to that he owned and operated Ares Wrestling Club located in Grand Rapids, MI. Mr.Scott received his BS degree in Communications from Cornell University. He then decided to get his real estate license and work in the commercial sector. He currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan with his Fiancé.
Chloe started with the company summer of 2023. Prior to that she worked for 2 years at financial institutions as a loan officer and teller. She also went to Lansing Community College and received her PCT/CNA certifications. Outside of work life Chloe enjoys spending time with her dogs, baking and reading. She currently resides in Decatur, AL.
Max Dean joined Great Lakes Land Holdings after graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Economics. While at Penn State, he competed for the men’s wrestling team, helping the team win two Division One NCAA Championships, and as an individual winning an NCAA Championship as well as four All-American honors. Max forewent opportunities to coach collegiately to pursue opportunities with GLLH. As the Director of Internal Development, he focuses on identifying contractors and organizing internal improvement among all assets. Max currently resides in State College, Pennsylvania with his wife Hannah.
Jane is native to Lawrence county, and has been in business in the area for thirty years, as well as a member of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. She is married and she and her husband have two children and a daughter-in-law. She loves her family and always has put her family first. Her husband, son, and her have traveled for work over the last several years and with that brought many stays in RV parks & Campgrounds. This definitely was the spark behind their interest in building their very own. They also felt an RV Park was needed in Leoma. They Started building Ramblers Edge in 2020 and built it into the wonderful park it is today.
